Nursing – Management Opportunity

Lincoln College of Technology’s Cleveland Campus, located in downtown Cleveland, is seeking an experienced leader to help us further expand our Practical Nursing program. As a growing campus, Cleveland is seeking a qualified, energetic, and dynamic leader that is looking to change lives and make a difference.

As part of the school’s management team, the Program Manager

* must ensure that the school’s operations are in full compliance with all government, accreditation, and company policies and procedures in its delivery of education to the student body and faculty

* must maintain the school at the highest level of quality, ethics and integrity

* assists in managing the Education Department to achieve the optimum level of student retention

* strives to fulfill the institutional aims and mission of the organization

• Assist with faculty recruitment and hiring.
• Responsible for faculty orientation, professional development, evaluation, and management.
• Ensure that all instructors are present, and that adequate provisions are made for classes affected by faculty absences.
• Assist with the academic scheduling of students and faculty
• Clinical Skill Lab management including scheduling of students and faculty.
• Conduct classroom observations and surveys. Review the results with faculty, students, the Director of Nursing Education, and staff as appropriate.
• Assist instructors on delivery methods that address students’ different learning styles.
• Support and enforce school and academic policies and procedures; advise and support instructors as needed.
• Maintain an inventory of all equipment, book supplies, and training aids, and course materials within the respective program.
• Manage student progress from orientation to graduation. Ensure satisfactory academic progress as it relates to student progression, student attendance, student grades, and graduation rates.
• Monitor student breaks, ensuring that students follow the prescribed school guidelines.
• Manage curriculum implementation and ensure compliance to standards. Contribute to the curriculum review process. Where appropriate, communicate all changes to curriculum, books, and supplies.
• Maintain oversight of processes related to student satisfaction and positive student retention, including contacting absent students and student advisement.
• Where applicable, coordinate and assist instructional staff with externship or internship site visits.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements
• Completion of an approved RN program
• 5+ years in the practice of nursing as an RN, 2+ years as a faculty member in a practical nursing education program
• Master's Degree
• Current, valid license as a registered nurse in Ohio
